Zeb Portanova is no stranger to the pursuit of excellence in educational, philanthropic, and business undertakings. With a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Portanova brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each of his endeavors. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Nicholas H. Noyes, Jr. Memorial Foundation, which donates nearly $2 million annually to nonprofit organizations throughout greater Indianapolis. Working with other charitable organizations, Portanova also served Habitat for Humanity for three years first as the Director of New Community Development, then as Executive Director, and finally as Chairman of the Board.
As a partner at The Proscenium Development, LLC, mixed-use commercial property project, Portanova was part of a team that executed contracts with Waldorf=Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment, Guerlain Spa, and national restaurants. Portanova was also instrumental in helping The Proscenium receive the first Regional Activity Center designation in the state of Florida. Portanova is currently a consultant to a major Fortune 500 company. Previously, he served as a partner at Laurus Strategies in Chicago.
In his free time, Zeb Portanova plays the guitar. A black belt in Shotokan Karate, he completed his first Tough Mudder in December 2011.
